Well I am finially out of the hospital. It is nice to be back home. I still have a long road left. I am on crutches for another 3 months or so. But at least I am out of the hospital. I have to stay in bed most of the time I am not aloud to put any pressure on my leg at all so getting around is almost impossible. I am happy I have a notebook so I can surf the internet while in bed. Well I just wanted to keep you all up to date. Have a great week.

When you say home, do you mean home Ohio or home Thailand?
Either way, I am sure you are happy to be out of the hospital.
Take care!
Just to pass a story on to you:
My stepnephew's girlfriend busted up her hip in a car crash a couple of years ago.
I talked with him over the holidays and he said she is doing great - fully recovered and getting around fine.
So it just takes time and dedication to get going again. Good Luck!

Sorry to hear that Josh..

Our of curiosity, did they consider a hip replacement? I have a buddy that just went through it in  mid-Nov, and he is walking around almost back to full speed...

Ken most hip replacements are for the leg part of the hip my pelvis was shattered. I don't think they replace pelvis'. They explained alot more today and I just had another CAT scan and some more x rays so I will know more soon. I will let you all know. They also put me in the room just acros the hall from my last one so it is all the same nurses. They were suprised to see me. But it has been a good pickup line saying I came back just to see them. I actually got a few numbers '<img'>

Well they found out that a screw went into the hip socket and was grinding on my leg bone so I had to go back into surgery today. Now I have another week or two here but this time the hospital is footing the bill.

.... OUCHHHHH

Wow... that really sucks... I am impressed that they admitted to the problem and are fixing it instead of making up some other story to make you pay for it...

I visted Egypt a few years ago. Anyone who has been there will tell you that crossing the road
is, in itself an experience. You actually get locals come up and help you (for a fee of course).

Anyway the only insurance the drivers have there is, if they kill you they must look after your family in the custom that you kept them in.

Hope all is well with the new surgery... Now that you have some numbers, maybe you'll quit banging that thing around to go back there! ':<img:'>
