If you book early enough... rooms at the pheasant inn are only about 79 a night... and I agree.. if you go get there Thursday (Wednesday if you want to check out the Kane show) but the place to be is in the lot at 5am Friday Morning!  It's well worth it...
here is a picture the booth I had down there two years back with a buddy of mine.

Eric - Yep! We probably did pass by each other a few times! My friend Harrison was the one that got (stole!)that Pepsi Heintz cooler.

This year we'll make sure that won't happen. We have enough lead time to set this whole shindig up right to where we could have a ton of SMC members.

Man what a awesome cooler... I walked past that a dozen times and didn't even ask
about a price... just figured it would be too high! Never again! What was I thinking (Obviously I wasn't)
Just wasn't meant to be and it got a good home... Has he done anything with it yet?
Would love to see that one restored.
Yep!... Let's all that are gonna go in November pick a time and place and meet up!
So start saving now (unless of course a killer machine pops up that you can't live without '<img'> )

Nice Trashcan juke behind that cooler.
Kinda looks like the Beverly Hillbillies' truck, but with really cool stuff in it!

It was like the Beverly Hillbillies! The best part came about two hours after that picture was taken. I was driving behind Harrison & Matt making sure that the load wasn't shifting to terribly or that nothing was coming loose. I started noticing that the blue shipping blanket in the picture was flapping in the wind and looked like it come loose.

I called Matt on his cell to let him know this but to no avail. The phone was busy! When I finally did get a hold of him he got another call and hung up on me!  ''  Seems he was involved in some pretty important calls and didn't have time for ole' Brian.....Well I dropped back about 100 yards just in time to see the blanket come flying off headed towards me!!!
All I could picture was this blanket either ending up covering the windshield or going underneath my car and getting caught up in something important.

Luckily I have cat-like reflexes and I corrected course to avoid the rogue blanket just in the nick of time.
 ''
Really I just got super-duper lucky that it flattened out so I could drive over it pseusdo-safely!! All in all it was a great trip. I learned a lot about hostile bargaining (not me, them!)and being to slow on the pulling trigger.

I missed out on a killer deal on a near perfect Seeburg Teardrop Speaker. I made an offer and turned around for about 3 seconds to ask Matt what he thought and within that small amount of time the speaker was gone!!

Welp, as it stands, I guess I made a good choice not going this year. Here in Southern Indiana we got lit up with about 4 hours of heavy rain starting at about 4am. I can just imagine what it was like at 5am at the show!

We lucked out up here.  We got a light drizzle here in NW Indiana, and it looks like they only got a tenth of an inch overnight at St. Charles: NWS data
