So, I pass this little Game room sales shop every day on the way home from my work (with AT&T internet access) now I've seen this cooler used as a "prop" in there front window facing the one & only Woodward avenue in Royal Oak, Mi.
home of the Woodward Dream Cruise, their main business is restoring Pinballs & Video arcade machines for home game room use, So, last week I stopped in & asked if it was for sale, alas, no. but the owner stated that he's had three so-called "refrigeration" guys attempt to restore it to working condition & they all took about 4 hours going over it , & then ran away screaming. I asked if I could have a look-see & give him an honest (no cost) estimate of this machines condition, he said knock your self out!

In the space of 30 minutes I had the lids, top-cover & circulation pump out & ready for inspection, the line cord was a hacked piece of cr@p, brittle, spliced & ready for the 4th of July, he couldn't belive I had completely diassembled the machine in so short of a time, (the other "pros" hadn't even bothered before telling him it was hopeless) the drain hose assembly was shot, the circulation motor was toast, & the wiring need replacing, what'll take to get 'er running again? was the question that followed next, I quoted him XXX dollars + parts, he agree'd & in five total hours, it lives again, ready to serve Cokes to the hot & thirsty people of the Woodward Dream- Cruise. Just look at that water a bubbl'n !!!!   ':<img:'>

Nice machine. I'm not trying to be funny, but if this cooler is for display only it could make a nice fish tank.

Yea, it would! if only it had a glass side! it would also be nice if the darn thing has some casters too! it's a tad on the heavy side already, let alone filled with water... '<img'> if anybody's local, it's in the front window of the shop, which is named "FreePlay" at 32088 woodward ave. Royal Oak, MI. (told the owner I'd plug his shop for use of the pictures)

Chris the owner, is pulling another WE-6 out of his storage trailer that he wants me to refurbish & get in running condition again too. the hardest part for me was getting a modern unit-bearing motor to replace the OEM cast Iron circulation motor, just a bit tight spot to shoe-horn the whole replacement assemble back together & keep the shafts aligned so the impeller wouldn't bind up. but after about a dozen pre-fits & tear downs, I've got it nailed...

My old timer plumbing supplier really came through with a perfect replacement brass drain assembly that fits like a factory job! gasket & all. I've posted the whole assy. in the classifieds section if anybody needs one for their cooler...
