I've searched for my answer but can't find it anywhere '<img'>  I'd like to set this up for free vend all the time. Is it possible without adding an additional switch?

Thanks
Bill

Well it's a good news/bad news kind of an answer...

The good news is that the MARS 6800/6XXX series can be programed to accept U.S./Canadian coins including the
Susan-Be-Ugly or the new Golden Dollar coin dollar and/or a token, (in use with Dollar coin acceptance or in lieu of a Dollar coin(s)). I've just gone through a bunch for MoonDawg, '<img'>

The bad news is , no I see no way to program it for a built-in "Free-play", so you're either going to have to use it as a coinmech/changer ( setting the vend-price to whatever you desire) or use the external "free-play" switch with or without the coinmech. in place.  '<img'>

On the 6800 series standard 8-pin "Jones" connector, the pin-out is the same as for the Coinco mechs' putting the momenary switch between pins #1 & #3 the vending price on a 6800 series can be set from 5-cents to $10.00

6800 series can be set to vend at .05 to $10.00 ? '<img'>

What would sell at $10.00?  Little bottles of champagne?
