Hello all. I have a Vendo 126 with the Coinco S75-9800A. Worked fine for a couple of weeks (machine is new to me) and now has stopped working. The coins will collect in the change box but it will never activate the gate. You can put as much money in as you want and no differece. Machine is full of product and nickel tubes are also filled.

Is there a troubleshooting process listed somewhere or are there obvious things I should check first?

Thanks in advance,

Jim

Hi Jim,
Welcome to the site!
Do a search for "Free Play Once More" and then hook up the Free Play switch. This will eliminate the coin mech - if it still won't vend with the Free Play switch, then at least you know your problem lies somewhere else besides the coin mech.

Jim,

have you tried different types of coins, quarters nickels and dimes?  Does the machine not respond to any of those?

Hit the inventory switch & see if the change motor ejects your nickels, if yes, then you have a good 12-volt regulator circuit, if not, then the mech has 120-volts to power the CREMS but it doesn't have any 12-volt DC to power the logic board.

Thanks everyone for the answers.

Yes, the inventory switch will dispense nickels. It doesn't matter which coins I put in, or how many. They all just collect in the coin box and the gate is not activated.

Strangely, before it quit working, I could put a nickel in and get a soda. I could put a dime in and get a soda and 2 nickel back. If I put a quarter in I would get my soda and 5 nickels back. (Quite a nice deal!)

Thanks again.
Cheers.
