Title: V56 Coinco S75-9800A Question
Post by: stl-v56 on March 05, 2020, 10:18:40 pm
Has anyone gone down the road of replacing a V56 S75-9800A Coinco mech with a Coinco 9370-SR model?  Per Coinco, it is the replacement for the S75-9800A.

Thanks,
Alan from StL

yep, they work great & take dollar coins if you want & can be set for up to $3.90/vend in case you are vending Champagne or something I guess

Never mind....turns out I had a cabinet/Jones plug wiring issue not an issue with the coin mech.

Sorry JohnieG, didn't see your reply.  I replaced my busted 9800A with a 9370.  However, I could not get the red led (power indicator) to light or the unit to vend.  I replaced all of the lamp cord wiring (old, dry rotting, looked suspect) with new silicone coated copper wiring.  I also replaced the connectors and Jones plug.  The new wiring/Jones plug must have resolved the issue as the 9370 now works as expected.  But I'll lose sleep not knowing where the specific issue was!  (not).

Thanks for the reply!
