Well it's not a Nesbitt's  or Grapette Quikold
or a SWEET Mustang... but you just gotta love the Craiglist!
Got another gumball machine...  a “SELMOR”
my little hand book doesn't have every model... has a earlier SELMOR so I'm guessing
it's  early 1940s.. this one is cast iron... heavy little guy... $15!!!! And it was on the way home from work!!

If anyone of you guys have the Silent Salesman guide book and you get a chance .. could you look it up
for me as to date it please? Thanks!
They painted it black years ago....
no crack or chips in the seemed glass globe and original key! This made my day... heck month! It has been a dry spell... Anyway... just thought I'd throw out my find of the
week/month!

Sweet find Eric! It even has a key with it, how often do you find that?

What you have Eric is a Model D, manufactured by Great States Mfg. Co. c. 1938.  It came in red or green crinkle paint finish.
That black has to go!

Hey Doc any chance you have a color picture of this... did the lid have
the crinkled paint too?... my Atlas Ace has crinkled paint but just on
the main body casing the shoulder plate that the lid fits into and the cap
are a butter yellow... was just wondering if the lid was differnet.
Thanks....

It's only a B&W pic in the book.  Even the International Arcade Museum doesn't have an image either.
