I still like the knob. To me it just looks like some one took a handle off of a machine and switched it out for the knob. The crank doesn't look right. Sorry, I'm just weird like that.

I am leaning towards the original turn knob, but I may try Glens suggestion of moving the pin hole on the crank handle to see how it looks. I don't know whether it might look weird - everyone is used to the crank being at a certain angle. I am pretty sure I have an extra clutch as I'd hate to ruin a complete crank assembly.

The graphics are there for good - clear coated over several times.

I also like the knob. I have however seen several of these original machines with the crank handle so I think they came both ways.

I could be wrong, but I think they were two different manufacturers. Here is the only pic I have of the other model.

I think the knob looks better, its a square machine, the knob is square and the chane bezel is rectangular. I think the crank handle throws off the whole geometry.
