I was driving in a small town in new hampshire and saw this old gas station, The pumps do not run any more, but the station is open and working for repairs, you just dont see stuff like this anymore, he keeps the station very nice and clean

Very cool Jeff...I love stuff like this, but usually can't talk the wife into stopping for a photo op. I can understand as usually our drives are 6-8 hours (with kids) and stopping every so often lengthens the trip considerably.

I am not too knowledgable of pumps, but am on the price of gas. Gas under $1.00 is nonexistant, but can't the output volume of these old pumps be modified to pump 1/4 or 1/3 of a gallon for a cent price that equates to the current gas price. Would the State regulators allow such a thing? Would the wait time for the pump to fill up the tank turn people away? Allows people more time to impulse shop! smile

That is a great way to get his business noticed, sets him apart from other
auto repair shops.

Very neat station. I bet he gets a lot of lookers. I think that if someone would set up an old station like that, and have a person that pumps your gas and washes your windows would go over big time. I know I would stop there.
