Once again, yet another incredible piece.
It is interesting that you posted this today because I was filling up at a Speedway Station on the north end of Lansing, MI the other day and I took the attached picture. I was thinking to myself when I took the shot,
"I wonder if this will be a collectible 50 years from now?"
Somehow, I would be very surprised if it turns out to be a sought after item. The care and imagination that went into the design of everyday items in the 30's through the 50's seems to be a thing of the past.
