Cavalier 51 value?

I have found a Cavalier 51 local to my Mom that the seller wants $400 for. It is complete and works. They dont have a key so they cannot open it but you can see the ammo belt inside. I personally don't care much for the Cav 51 so I would be buying to flip or part out. What is the average price for an ammo belt and rollers? Then I guess the only other sellable parts are the coin door and coin mech. Is all that worth more than $400?

I don't think you would make a lot of money on it...at least not worth your time and effort!

Yeah, I agree. It is a lot of work for such a little return. On the other hand, if you have the space you can offer $300.00 and then hold onto it for two or three years. I am sure the value will go up again. I am so sure, I bought three C-51s over the last year. I have them stored inside and will restore them if I get a buyer, and if not, then maybe I will part them out.

I passed on it. After buying two Jukes I figure I am good for now.

Thats a good idea Glen.  Is that possible or is the cabinet completely different?

You know I've got one, and I've got it half way broke down to start restoring.
The Chrome is done  and some of the replacement parts that I need  I've got
I should get it done.

         The back walls of the inner liners and cabinets would have to be removed,
and lot's of continuous welding. Then 1 wall would need to be installed to support
both vending belts, but the compressor does cool both compartments.
