Wow Pat if thats your machine you should go buy it back for only $150. Thats a hell of a deal if its the same machine. Heck you have more money than that just in the cost of paint.

Either the seller is unloading the machine Pat sold, or a google search turned up the pic. I've never seen a scammer on Craigslist give his phone number.

Per Pat .......In a nut-shell, the guy has a Vernors machine (so he says) for sale & he's "having problems" with getting the pictures to upload to craigslist, (so he claims) it's not even the same model, or condition, ( he's not sure what make it is) but he grabbed the picture you see via a google search on "Vernors machines" that led him over to colamachines.com, where he helped himself....(yep hard to get those invisible machines to appear long enough to snap a picture....) so there is is, If every one here would "flag" his bogus & mis-leading posting on craigs list, it will be pulled.

I should have called the guy because I was out that way this morning but I forgot. I did just call him and he said that the machine was a Cavalier squaretop from the 60's. He said it was not a fantasy machine and that it was a legit Vernors. He thought it was a 56 but that would make it a Vendo. He said he had other older machines and that he mainly collected the old round-tops. I asked him to send me some pictures. He said that someone was coming to see it tonight but if they don't buy it he will send pictures. If he does, I will post. I may also be back out that way tomorrow so I will call him to go see it if I get out there. It will be interesting to see what shows up in the e-mail. Tim

Interesting machine. It is a Vendorlator but not one that we have listed in the Soda Machine area. Looks to be complete except the light lens. I may be out in GR tomorrow if anyone is interested. PM me and let me know. I love the big Vernor's Gnome sticker on the side! Tim

Looks like a VF56D, I have a VF90D, and the coin door is setup the same, with the integrated coin bezel. Looks pretty cool, the bottom grate is definitely different than I have seen.
I also like how the price went up $25.

Thanks to JohnieG for filling you guys in on what went down on this guy using my picture And thanks to Tim for spoting this in craigs list and post something here . And to fill you in on what else went down , The gentleman that bought my Vernors machine last year call me, wanting to know what the was going on and if I was behind this. I told him I had no idea about this and I had got a call from a friend (John) about it and I had then turned around and called this guy to ask him to remove the picture. So a lot of problems came from someone stealing a picture and mis leading people on a listing ,He never said it looks like or this machine kinda looks like ,He just played it off as this was his machine And he really did play it off that way when I called him , SO he got busted thanks to my friends here at SMC. Thanks Pat

I owned one of these & I have the lightup sign plastic insert (Vernors) for it. the lower "grill" isn't metal at all on this machine, It's really just a decal, here's a comparision picture of his /vs/ mine...
