Hi Guys
My newest toy...
Unfortunately this one has seen better days and is currently not working...
Will post pictures tomorrow when I can get some taken..
Does anyone know anything about this little girl... Perhaps some contacts for where I can get repro parts etc...
I think I am missing parts but not sure what exactly.. Would also like to know in laymen's terms how it works so I can try and trouble shoot...
Any help as always gratefully appreiciated...
Dave

Josh
it is a slot machine of sorts... Here's a picture of the front on... Its much smaller and has no payout... Designed to get around 1930's gambling rules...

Looks nice. So if there is no payout why play? I know some in the states in this era paid in gum and candy for the law issue. Does yours do anything if you win?

These babies were designed to get around the gambling restrictions.
This one would pay out in packs of cigarettes but it also has a spy hole where the bar tender could see what coin was placed in the machine. If the punter won he would bring it to the attention of the staff and they would pay him out direct...
It will (or should) vend a gumball with every go....

Thanks Josh
I took this one in exchange for a vending machine so I have next to nothing invested in it... Would be nice to get the old girl working again... Does make you wonder how she ended up over here... Slots I can understand but Trade Stimulators. Perhaps via the same way most f my stuff has come... Some nice airmen from the US Air Force...
I have managed to source some parts just need the knowhow and the courage to set about it...

Dave, Since it is sort of a slot machine - are there slot machine websites that might have useful information for you. Just throwing ideas out!

Dave, I also found this, it's a link to the CoinOpCollectorForum.com. The particular thread starts out talking about Daval parts in general and then the discussion turns to the Penny Pack and a guy who has parts for them!!! Another cool thing is that it's a recent discussion, not a few years old. http://www.coinopcollectorforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=881&sid=35cbea21fa57d7045837e3e4d7103b51

Thanks Brian ...
I have posted on the coincollectorforum but as yet no reply...Not like here...
I have also e-mailed the guy with the repro parts and he has most of what I need...
Those pictures are great and have inspired me to bring my old gal back to life...
Excellent....
