Just when you think you've seen it all

       A guy local asked if I was interested in buying his 3 door embossed Victor so
I went over to at least take some pictures. He said he pulled it out of an old bar
and it was working fine last year.

       What floored me, was the last serviceman had re-routed the capillary tube of
the thermostat through the lettering and into the inner liner 

       I have to wonder what some people use instead of a brain!

       This guy was willing to trade it to me for a Cavalier air cooled chest I was asking
$800 for. A lady from the Coke collectors club is looking for an embossed Victor so
am hoping to put the deal together on Friday. But the day after I looked at it last
week the seller listed it in Craigslist for $1200.00, maybe I got him excited?
