My vote would be yes! I would guess that the embossing was cut from a carry cooler.

To the best of my knowledge, only Coca-Cola had the V-44/VMC-44

I've had one for about 14+ years.
I need to find the $$ to restore it.
Got mine from someone in St. Louis area.
Needs coin door and coin mech.
Then I'll need to paint it.

PS Really hard to tell on the inside that the logo
came from somewhere else

Fantasy. Pepsi was never sold in 6/12 oz bottles, they even advertised as 12 oz for a nickel, so why would they have a machine that wouldn't  fit their bottles?  Oo

That said, it is a nice looking unit, though I don't think I'd have cut up a 44 to make a fantasy machine

I will try to get it out this weekend.
I am a dunce when it comes to computers.
I'll try to get my son to attach pictures.
I have been wanting to photograph my
Dr. Pepper Globe cooler anyway.
If I remember, it doesn't have the insulation,
liner, etc in the door. I just cannot remember
what the welded part looks like.
Outside looks great. Its primered but not complete.
Don't know about the VMC plate. Don't think there is one.
I bought it knowing it was fanatsy, just thought it would look
great beside a Vendo Coke

I spoke to the seller and he thinks its a fake. He also has a 7up 81 and was led to believe they were original and paid for originals and he just learned that his 7up 81 is also a fake. Why do people do that? Either way since it has a can mech in it at least it is a functional cool looking machine.

Are you sure Pepsi didn't sell in 6.5 to 8 oz. bottles. I'm almost sure they did. I'll have to check on the small pepsi bottles that I have.
