Well, I don't know much about this but I liked the art deco look to this Mills candy machine. Now I just have to find a place to hide it from my wife for awhile! |

Here's a couple of more pics!  There isn't a base to this machine but it looks like it's always been wall mounted.
 It's small - about 20.5 " wide, 35" tall and 12" deep and weighs about 75 lbs.

I guess they didn't want anyone stealing the display candy with that wire mesh glass. Way cool deco look! Nice find! |

Nice Machine!     I was watching that one too because I knew I was going to be in Cleveland yesterday and I would have been able to pick it up after my meeting!  I couldn't bid though because I am still looking for a place to hide the Candyette from the War Department! And I picked up a Coke sign today that I also have to find a place for ! Nice compact machine and I really like the art deco design.  I would guess that the glass was replaced later in that machine's life due to a hungry customer who didn't have any loose change! Very nice buy. Maybe Curtis can shed some light on the origins/rarity of the candy vendor! Tim    |
