Any of you guys that also are "in the know" on gas pumps know a fair price for a Bennett 371?  I think this is the style pump I would like to get and do up as a Pure pump.  I found one around here, but the price is high at $950 unrestored.  Thoughts?

$400-600. I don't think anyone is repopping the  sheetmetal,  so make sure it's not rusted through, unless you are good with sheet  metal.
Hard to tell from the pic but it looks as if the left side bottom and  frqame are  eaten thorugh

That is a great pump restored. Think Kilroy is correct on pricing. Run it past the folks over at oldgas.com

Run and not look back, $400-$500 tops. I know a guy that has 4-5 of these, They look awesome restored. But with this economy I personally wouldnt pay more than $400.00.

Thanks, Guys!  I'll keep my eye out for this model pump at a much better, budget friendly price.  I think it would be killer restored!  I may be able to get this one by the boss, since she loves Pure Oil stuff...a blue and white pump with lighted globe on top would be nice.  We still haven't found one of the old porcelain signs that was affordable.

Hi Greg,
Lots of fans of Pure out there. Nice signs will always come at a premium. Hard to tell from the pic. If the computer is not beyond repair and the rust is just surface I'd say that is a $600 pump. The four side's of add glass are outstanding when lighted. Have you tried a lower offer?
oldgas site will help.

Joey,
Will the guy with B-371's sell one at $400? If so, PM me final cost of one shipped to Spokane, WA. I'd want a complete restorable pump.
Thanks!!

I'll have to contact him, I bought 6 soda machines off of him a few months back. He was getting out of the soda and getting more heavy into the gas and oil stuff. he had a 40X80 shop FULL and that wasnt even half of what he has.

Kinda late jumping in, but I think you've been told it's high.. there was one at chicago with an amatuer paint job for 950.
I personally love this pump, and am looking for one myself as well to restore, they are tough to find in the 400 range,, up in my neck of the woods 600 is a good price for one of these if I could find one.. I have two that are around 750 ,but thats too much too.

Joey, if you talk to the guy selling some , keep me in mind.
