V-63 glass door

Hi guy's,
I'm splitting the glass door open for paint and an inside cleaning. I might replace glass if what i see inside cant be cleaned up but I was hoping to salvage the gasket.

Seems the gasket is permentally stuck to the pane's. I'm going slow but it's still tearing.
anything I can spray in there to loosen it up? should i just plan on a new gasket?

I use a single-edge razor blade to separate the glass panes from the rubber seal. I just carefully slide it along the edge, while applying slight pressur against the glass. it works every time for me.
