selectivend what model is this???

Hey  Guys
   New to the site and new to collecting .This is a great site with alot of good info on here .I have a selectivend 10 cent machine.I do not know what model it is .And I need a few parts for it also .Any help on this would be great . Thanks

It is a SelectiVend for sure!
I think it is a S-96 with a glass bottle door - Is it 62" tall or 72" tall?
The S-48 was 62" and the S-96 was 72".
Looks like you are missing the coin mech. I do not have an original mech, but I probably can have one modified to work.
Can't tell what else is missing - shelves might be hard to find.
Does it cool? Looks to be in nice shape!

Nice find! It's a SV96/glassdoor, of all of the SV models the S-48 & S-96 glass doors are the most desirable, followed by any embossed models, they came with two coinmechs, the early series had a straight 10-cent mechanical/crank mech, ( 1-dime or two nickels with no change given) & the coindoors from these earlier mechs' were shallower than the later series of change-giving mechs,

 I've noticed that the earlier /shallower units had the coindoor hinged on the right, while the later change-giving ones had both the larger / deeper coin door & they all appear to have be hinged on the left, plus there are small differences in the coin-return cup positions, yours seem to have the small-coindoor.

Thanks for the help with the model #. The coin mech. door hinges on the right .The machine is only missing the bottle door .It is a little rusty in the bottom around the compressor skid .The coin mech will take a dime and work .It runs and cools ok .I do have some questions about the sold out window .Their might be some thing missing to the left of the coin mech that I have seen in some pics .

I think i am seeing a changer in the pics I am looking at .This model did not have a changer with it .I do need the bottle door .Do you have to adjust it to take new nickles it rejects them but takes a dime ok .It has eleven selections so it must be a s-96.thanks for the help guys.

There is no real adjustment for nickels - most likely the rejector is just dirty.
Remove the rejector by slightly pulling the two spring steel clips out to the right and then flip the rejector out to the left.
You can run it through the dishwasher - take the cover plate (with the decal) off before doing so.

On the back you will see two screw heads (one right on top of the other), Make sure that they are as tight as can be - also get some rubbing alcohol and a pipe cleaner and clean the nickel anvil. You can do this through the triangular access hole next to the two previously mentioned screw heads on the back. Remove the nickel cradle (upper left on the mech in you picture and put a little Brasso or other brass cleaner onto a pipe cleaner and reem it through the center pin hole a few times. Wrap the same Brasso pipe cleaner around the cradle spindle and clean it too. Remove the magnets and clean the underside of them too.
A rejector is meant to operate clean and dry - never use any oil on it.
