I'm on the east coast and looking for a someone who can do a first class full restoration of an early 60s square top Coke Cavalier machine. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Anybody have any experience with Alan Huffman of Antiquities Vending Company?

Welcome to the group!
If you are on the East Coast, Curtis at Memory Lane Resotrations is in Maryland. Check him out here:
Thank you. I know quality of work varies but I'm really interested in a first class restoration so I appreciate the recommendation.

I appreciate the good recommendations, it sounds like Curtis at Memory Lane is the way to go. I'm curious why nobody mentioned Alan Huffman at Antiquities Vending? He has a professional looking website and seems to have done a lot of restorations. He's actually closer to me although that would have little influence my decision. Good recommendations are the basis for selecting someone.

There are several people that have had bad times here with Alan Huffman. He seems to have a hard time getting machines finished in the same century as promised.

Thanks, that's good to know. I thought that might be the case because I saw a post on another forum that referred to some negative comments on this forum concerning Antiquities Vending but I could never find anything. If anybody on here still has a machine with Alan I'd be interested in talking to them, private message would be fine. In the mean time, I'm going to email Curtis.

I was just poking around trying to find Curtis's email and website again. The Ebay link posted in this thread doesn't work anymore but Google turned up webnetauctions as his Ebay store. No items listed however but an excellent 100 percent rating. Found http://www.memorylaneblvd.com which has the same logo as Curtis's Ebay store except that it says "Memory Lane Boulevard" rather than "Memorylane Restorations". Memory Lane Boulevard is actually Bars and Booths. I recently bought a custom booth from them and was very pleased with it although the booth was actually built by Vitro Seating. Anyway, because the logos are the same I'm a bit confused. Is Curtis affiliated with Bars and Booths now? Just trying to understand the details before I contact anybody...

I think he used to work for them, before setting out on his own.
