V81 Stainless Steel Strip, replace or keep???

What you you do..
I am restoring another Vendo 81, and have some issues with the original Stainless molding, Original had some good creases/dents in it , got most of it worked out but it's not perfect..
would you replace the original with the dents, small flaws or replace with the plastic stick on stuff.. this is on a fully restored machine so the dented stuff, doesn't look that good , but it's original?
WHat to do... or is there someone who can completely get the dents out?
