I guess I got into this a little to late! What exactly was the guy sellin'? The item is no longer posted due to it's sale. Just curious what it was.

It was a Vendo 81A, a pretty nice machine. Great teamwork and thanks for the lead Hummer.

Darn shame it sold Glen,
The pics getting it into the Scotty camper would never compare with the T-bird, but would have been fun. Agree great teamwork!!

NP, I saw it, and figuted I had to send it out. Hoping someone on here could have picked it up. I have a vendo 110 that needs to be compleatly restored, and an 81D that just needs some minor work, then I'll start looking for a 56. once it gets a little warmer, I'll be sending out some posts asking for help like any other newbie restoring for their first time. You guys seem great. If I come across anything else I'll be sure to post it up.

If I can acquire a good copy of the T-Bird with front seat soda machine, I'll recommend it lands in the calendar somewhere... Perhaps, in an inconspicuous location...
I have an old photo of two repairmen moving a machine in a wheel barrel! What ever works...

Ok Jim, I sent the pic's I had to you.
It was Terry's idea to take the picture, he said that SMC would get a kick out
of it. Guess he was right. It is kinda' funny looking back on it biggrin

I love that photo too... it's not my computer desktop image... too funny... I'm sure people at work will now ask, what in the *#*#($( is that.... can't wait to tell them the story behind it so they can confirm I'm not the only one crazy about Soda machines... biggrin
