Congratulation Custom Chrome Plating

 Jon Wright shop did this 57 Olds 

1957 Oldsmobile Fiesta wagon. The cover car of the December 2007 issue of Rod & Custom Magazine and also awarded Rod & Custom’s Custom of the year! Congratulations to owners Bruce and Judy Ricks of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and the guys at Cimtex Rods in Jarrell, Texas for building a beautiful car. All of the plating, including the stainless steel trim was polished and flawlessly plated at CustomChrome.

How's there prices, quality and time frame compared to speed and Sport chrome?

Terry, I don't know how they compare to Speed & Sports Chrome I've never
 sent any thing to them , but I do know I've sent stuff to CCP down on a thursday                     they called me on a Tuesday letting me know that it was done.                   
There Quality, well I do know it's far better than where I was sending
my stuff Adams Chrome Plating and that is close to home
 that was poor work and never again    CCP I would say it is High quality work.
Pricing  I don't think there bad  but again every body is different
on what they think  is low and what is high .
The best thing I can tell you is give them a call or go to their web site
and drop them a email

I sent a VMC coin bezel to them and it was PERFECT.  I was hesitant about sending it because of its value.  They would not plate the crank handle though. 
I did not get quite the turn around time of Pat P, but it was faster than they had promised. 
One big thing compared to Speed and Sport is that they will take a credit card S&S is COD only.

I'm gonna give them a try. S&S quality is excellent but the prices seem to be getting higher all the time.

      I sent S&S 3 coin bezels from V-81 plus 3 coin return and bottle opener
bezels, 8 crank handles and 2 small C-72 parts.

      4 weeks later Craig called and said my parts were done and because of
a new copper process they started, the quality is better than before. Also
because of this new process their price had to be increased by 33%.

      The total came to over $1200.00. I've been dealing with him for 15 years
and he will still only ship C.O.D. money order only. I'm with Terry and ready
to try someone new.

K, Pat,  need to be thinking about sending out the chrome from the Seeburg soon, and while I was satisfied with  the last company I dealt with, I was hoping for better for the price.

How pitted were your pieces?

 Well my chrome for SV Dr Pepper was  pitted up pretty bad it look
great when I got it back.
 Marvin that does  surprise me about the crank handle did they tell
you why they would not do it ??
 They have not turned down any thing I've sent them ...

I don't remember exactly what they said.  It was no big deal I really wanted a new one anyway!

I thought the prices were more than fair and I asked for Show quality on my pieces.
