There is a store near me that supposedly lost thier lease and is closing. They have a CS-72 machine inside that appears to be fully restored. They use it to sell sodas to customers. The primary business is other nostalgic items that are new. But they are asking $2950 for it. Seems like quite a bit. I saw an old thread that mentioned $1800.
Are they asking way too much? I can probably post a picture if that would help.

If it is truley a "Completely" restored machine, meaning inside and out, new paint, parts ,etc... then yeah a pretty good deal as they are selling in that range and higher... but if its' just a cosmetic restore... forget it.
Post some photos and this group will pick it apart for you!

I've only seen it in passing and had a soda from it a while back. Here are the photos they took and posted with the ad.

Looks like a cosmetic paint job only... still rust on the inside cabinet, original breaker strips, didn't even paint the inside of the coin door..
Not worth the asking price...

Here is a good example of misused terminology. The seller stated that this
machine has been RESTORED...... what he really meant to say, is this
machine has been PAINTED only!
Still a good buy if it were around $1500.00 or so.
