Thought I'd kick the subject off with some of my rather modest finds...

I started 2006 with a couple of wall vending machines and thanks to stumbling across a warehouse of old machines I left it with close to 20 and that's after I have sold at least ten. Giving me enough money to buy other bits and pieces.

I managed to score a Northwestern Gumball Machine that now sits on my desk dispensing jelly beans. It was avertised as incomplete and that put plenty off. With a bit of help I have now managed to source parts that make it complete.

Managed to finally get hold of a lovely original working late 50's Coca Cola double sided lighted sign that now hangs from my ceiling.

I finally gave into temptation and bought my first EM Pinball. 1966 Wiliiams Hotline..

But the best buy for me this year has been my Westinghouse 44. I know its not the most desirable machine and for some of you I realise you'd pass on it even if it was only up the road. But for me I love it. After a bit of tinkering and a new compressor fan motor, fingers crossed it all seems to work just right.

This year too, I finally breathed life into my Jacobs 50. In the next couple of weeks I hope to have it all back together and working. It had sat in my garage for close to three years feeling very sad and neglected. It now gleams and all that is left is to get the re-fridgeration sorted.

There you go they are my achievements this year.I'm now looking for another project..

No new (or old machines) in 2007,  but I did pick up
2  large Coke bottle thermometers
A Theo Koch Barber chair
Seeburg Hf100g

And one of the best finds was (finally) meeting up with John (G) and Pat (Pixley). They are as nice and fun to hang with in person as they are on the boards, and John's stash of machines is incredible.
