Looks good!!!!
I don't know why, but I really like air meters. I guess it is because you just don't see that kind of stuff anymore. It seems like they would be popular. Just set the pressure you want and fill your tires.

It seems like they would be popular. Just set the pressure you want and fill your tires. That is too complicated for todays technology! Besides - it would cost 35 cents for air then. Nice work cormy! I might have to start looking for one - I kind of like them too Marvin! Don't tell me this is the start of migrating from soda machines into gas pumps! Can these be set up to function in the home garage or are they just for looks nowadays?

Cormy, Looks great very nice job!! Tom, Don't see any reason why they couldn't be hooked up to an air compressor and work just fine. This site takes another chunk out of my workday, fun stuff :-). www.oldgas.comCreighton

Wow!! That looks awesome. I really like the old air meters as well. They share lines with the Vendo Coin Changer.

Can these be set up to function in the home garage or are they just for looks nowadays? I had one of the Eco models with the cord reel in the bottom, Model 93 I think that I setup to use, and as long as the unit doesn't have any leaks, they can be functional as Creighton has stated. Don't tell me this is the start of migrating from soda machines into gas pumps! Tom, I think this is the normal progression of things... I went from soda machines, to gas pumps and related items, to jukeboxes and finally into pinball/video games... So, you're still in the early stage of coin-op...

This was discussed in another discussion, but the Air meter compliments a Gas Pump, like a Vendo Coin changer compliments a Coke Machine.... They are pretty cool, and don't take up space... but the prices are really climbing on these too! at least 650 to find a good one from what I see.

Thanks all. Jim, I normally dont put a hose on them but I would probably go with black just to keep it uniform. These should work on an air compressor since this was a newer unit (1999) that I converted to look older with a chrome kit. Yes these are getting expensive and the parts to convert them to the older style are not cheap, but luckily there are a few suppliers of all the parts you will need. I'm not sure but I think these units are still being made by OPW (pump producers).

I kind of migrated from gas pumps to soda machines.
Yes you can still buy a new meter from OPW. You can also buy the parts you need to make it work. I have a restored one in my house, but I'm looking for a rougher unit to have out in the garage to use.
