Well Happy Birthday John, And I hope you all had a good Halloween
We had our home deck out the lights and the big blow up Skelton
on the chopper and the blow up pumpkin ,Then it started to rain
and we had only 48 kids show up and a ton of candy left Oo.

No rain here. Walked with my son around the neighborhood between about 6:30 and 7:30.  Got a decent amount of loot. Too bad he likes the same candy I do.

WHO in their right mind gives out peppermints!?!  censored

Anyhow, it was fun.

We have a condo development in our town that everyone goes to. We had a group of about 8 adults and 12 kids... Could not have asked for better weather--- 55-60 degrees. Not quite fall weather.

Happy Birthday John!

Happy Birthday !  We need rain down here in Georgia even if it rains out something.  I bet the Halloween Birthday has been a hoot over the years.  Hope you had a great one this year.

Another Successfull Halloween... I like to go all out on this day... I get the Fog Machine out, the Strobe light, the Black LIghts the scary music and cob webs... we deck out the front porch and create a nice little Halloween theme for the Trick or Treaters...

All in all a another good one! Little Cold but no rain!

I'll bring some left over candy for any of you that I'll see in Chicago next week!

Get this. My mom had the family plus a friend with her baby over to go trick-or-treating in her neighborhood. She lives in a nice suburban neighborhoods that is really safe. One of her friend who has a 9 month old baby (which is too young to be eating candy) was upset because traffic made them late to enjoy the whole time of trick-or-treating and wasn't able to get a lot of candy. My nephew got about 2.5 small bags of candy and came back to my moms house to unload twice and when he got back the last time all of his candy was gone. This lady stole my nephews candy. I just can't believe how a grown man and woman could steal a 6 year olds candy. My Mom confronted her and she denies it. I grew up with this lady and I just can't believe it. how could you do this to a 6 year old boy. Some people are just sick.

I am sorry to vent here about this. i just had to let my frustration out. Its hard to be so far away from home and have things like this happen.
