Is anyone from Wisconsin? Need to pick up a Milk Machine and take it to a terminal. Does the vendo 80 have the same insides as a Milk Machine.  Let me know your thoughts.

Vendo milk machine "guts" are indeed different than a V80, I think the only thing thats the same is the actual cabinet itself.
Ive owned a few V8os and one incomplete milk machine even the inside liner is different.

Joey,

Thanks for the help. I know the liner is different but will anything fit? Anybody got a picture of the inside? or a manual? Trying to see if it is worth going after.

I have many customers interested in a "display machine" only!
They have no intention of filling it or pluging it in to vend a product!

The Vendo milk machine is rare.......so I think it would display nicely
as long as it included the top sign displaying the milk cartons.

I have not fully disassembled a milk machine, but from what I can tell only the cabinet is the same.  I got a door liner from a vendo 80 with plans to adapt it and it was to different.
The way the cooling system works is way different from the soda machines also.  It pulls air from the evaporator through the inner liner then out the top.  Pretty neat machines if the price is right and it has the display I would not pass it up.

Steve at the Soda Jerk Works says if he gets enough interest in a door liner he will reproduce them.  If you get need one let him know.  I need 2 myself.

Jim,

I would be interested in the DM-210 Manual. I believe that's the Ice Cream Machine, right?

Brian,

This service manual has no references to vending ice cream. The image posted earlier is the one pictured on the front of the manual. It's referred to as the Vendo Dairy-Vend Milk Vender.
If you have a machine with any of the listed model numbers, I guess this service manual would be applicable... Perhaps Vendo realized it could vend ice cream as well...

Gotcha! Thanks for the info Jim. I'll keep my eyes open for that manual! It might come in handy when I get around to finishing my Ice Cream Machine.

Check with eBay user crackerjack - I bought some original locks, a pocket mech tester, and some other stuff off of him. He mentioned in an email that his father used to service Vendo Dairy Vend machines from the 50's - 60's for Tropicana.

He probably serviced one of these:
Vendo Tropicana

I just realized this looks like the same machine pictured on the from of my service manual...
