A guy called with a V59 (on a Cavalier chest) that he wants to sell.  I thought I may ride over to have a look because it's only about 25 minutes away.  Does anyone know if this thing will vend bottles larger than 8oz?
The owner says it cools and the coin mech works properly...

Thanks,

Hey JP,

I honestly cannot remember since it's been some time since I had a V-59... I would bring an 8oz bottle, place it in the machine and see if there's enough clearance for additional height such as a 12oz-16oz bottle...
I would still go visit and talk shop; you never what else he has or someone he knows...

My six cents,

According to Walter's 3rd edition, it will only hold the 6 1/2 (or Cool oz. bottles.
I have never owned one, but I have always wondered whether removing or extending the bottle rack hangers allowing the rack to rest closer to the cooling coils underneath would provide enough clearance. I have thought this might be an option on the Vendo Junior also.

Thanks guys.
Tom, I like your idea of lowering the bottle drum - I have to go take a look now!
