I was at the Sun-Drop bottler in Shawano, WI yesterday and I spotted an old delivery truck when I was leaving. It is from Celo Bottling in Sauk City, WI. Celo's owner passed away this past winter, so the plant is closed. It looks like it needs a little body work, but still is a neat looking vehicle. What year do you think it is?

I'm thinking more mid to late 70's, the front grill resembles a friend of mine's 74 Chevy pickup, and I don't believe they started added reflectors in the front fenders until the last few years

I don't think they did that in the late 70's...

I think they started the side lights in 1968. It looks like a 68 or 69 to me. Cool old truck though !!!! Bob

That ones seen some duty, looks like it wasn't retired until recently based on the weight placard being displayed. Late 60's.

I don't think the truck is for sale. I wish I saw it before I bought my stuff, then I would have asked about it (the young guy I talked to was kind of talkative). I bet that they bought the truck to fix up and use in parades and stuff. Also, I don't think the widow got rid of any signs. There is a neat sign in this article. I had no idea that they sweetened soda with celery before!

It's either a 67 or 68. You can tell from the grill and doors. We had one a couple of years ago that was a delivery truck.
