This is fine...everythings going to be OK....

I took this in part trade on a machine I sold, & I'm looking for a good home for it, as you can see it's a Vendo 6-case vertical cooler, a model F110, it would be a good project for someone.

It has an had all of it's wood frame replaced (if you aren't aware, all Vendo V83, V110, & 6-case chassis have a wooden (Oak) perimeter frame that supports the maindoor, the inner tank/liner & the maindoor itself. this can lead to the tanic acid in the Oak framing attacking & corroding the metal when it's kept in a wet/damp enviroment. along with wood-rot & drooping door hinges, why did they do this? to conserve metal for war use during WW-II)

the owner was a so-so painter, but a master wood-worker! it has been re-framed  in Cedar. & it is possibly one of the best re-framing jobs I've seen.

the chassis is straight, & due to the afore-mentioned rust that is common to these machines, the back & bottom pan have been replaced, and a new door-liner was cut to fit.  as I said, it would make a relativly easy project machine.

It also has many new parts installed, new main-door stainless steel hinges, a new maindoor gasket, bottle opener trim bezel. bottle door hinges.  as you can see, it does not have compressor, but I do have the evaporator,  I could fix you up witha compressor deck & make it functional again, or you could give Global compressors a call too.

The paint job is "OK" but whoever painted it didn't do much in the way of prep work, ( proper sanding, fill-work ) so the paint although shiny, shows the typical sratches & nicks a machine of this age gets in its service life, but surprisingly no dents!  the embossing was done with a kids paint brush & well.. you know. looks amateurish.

it needs a lock, two more wire racks, (and a good repaint  ':<img:'>   ) and of course a compressor,  so the hard part has been tackled already, now it needs finishing up to be a really nice looking machine. I'm asking $300 or Best offer,  if you are interested, please PM me.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor

So you guy's know, I saw this yesterday and it is just like John said
it not a bad machine at all , There is some great wood work and metel work done on this.
Get John to do a compressor or get one from Eric over at Global
Compressor and a few small things and you will have a nice machine.

heya Kevin, Hi, I'm asking $300 OBO, Eric from global compressors has first dibs on the machine at this point.  & you have second dibs. ( if he decides he doesn't want it.) thanks...John
