the labels are 1" x 1".  the recessed area that they fit into is 1-3/16" x 1-3/16" with rounded corners.

the brands that i'll be serving:

coca cola
pepsi
diet pepsi
wild cherry pepsi
7 up
dr pepper
barqs

i bought 12 packs of cans and i think that i could scan the ends of the cartons (since they are square) and make some decent strips.

I'll take some pics of what I made. I was going to scan or cut the boxes, but I ended up making some name brand and also some generic flavor labels and laminating them. I then used velcro on the the lever and the label so I can change them as needed. We stock up with whatever is on sale since the kids mostly use the machine and never really finish a soda anyway.. I have them done for the Vendo ST's. I want to do something for my USS-64 as well.

Velcro. That's a good idea.  I bought a set of labels from vendingmachinesrus, but they don't seem to be around anymore.  The web site is no longer up.?.?
We also printed some up, but printed them off on mailing labels.  The size was right on the label and then we just cut that out (if that makes sense). But, I like the idea of laminating them and using velcro to switch them.    '<img'>

Here is a pic of my machine with the velcro labels... I've also attached my word file if anyone wants it.. its just a table, but its the right size for the 56/63 can machines.. I am going to do the same thing with the USS next..

Bubba, these work great on my 56 also.  Maybe someone could do these with authentic logos and maybe even some selected "hard" beverages!  I use velcro too, works terrific

My original idea was to do with logos, but I got really lazy and was having size troubles... If I was only going to stock it with the same few items, than I would have put more into it. 8-10 year old kids don't care what they are drinking anyway.. they like putting money in the machine, grabbing a can, taking a sip and leaving it on the table anyway..

Velcro......... great idea, why didn't I think of that ! (duh)
I will be lazy and wait on you to scan and post something so I can get my Uss 8 46 all snazzed up.  I have a few of the old sticky round logos on a few of my knobs now.

The little things make a difference and you do good work !

I went with magnetic strips instead of velcro.

Are the levers steel or do you put the strips on both sides? ...

I'll work on that shortly... talking about this just got me motivated again to make the labels.. I'm not going to be scanning in the logos though... I don't care that much..  '<img'>

I'll try to do it this weekend..

Greg,
If it's not to much trouble please email the file to me at t3ibob@yahoo.com

I'll play around with some velcro & Magnetic backing.  Did you laminate them with the standard stuff from Home Depot or Lowes?

Thanks,
Bob

The caps are plastic.  I used rubber cement to glue a 1" fender washer to the cap.  I print the labels on Avery label stock #8160. I spray the labels with lacquer to keep the moisture from making the ink run.

I too am looking for 1" x 1" labels file for my Caviler uss-8-64.

I was hoping for Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite Etc.  As well as a few Beer comman labels, Corona, Miller Lite, Bud etc.

Does anyone has some they could share?

I do like the magnet Idea!!!

Thanks
