Being sold on craigslist... I know it's overpriced at $850 but was wondering what a fair price would be?

Looks like the V110 went from CL to eBay. $750 BIN and a $150 NR opening bid.
Bryan - I have 8 or so of the shelves and lots of other 110 parts. If you want to get it and need anything, let me know

I do not see a bunch of nicely restored 110's being sold, but a guess would be that it would bring $2500-$3000. Before I acquired the DP81 here, I was going to try my hand at a restoration and restore the generic 110 I had into DP. I broke it down completely! Now it is half-way re-assembled and in the shed (I might do it in the future). I did talked to a couple of people about it and the one common thing that people had trouble with is the drain tube. The p-trap was originally welded or soldered to the bottom of the liner after the liner was installed. The 110 is also framed in wood inside and a fair amount of woodworking is involved to restore. The cabinet woodwork has to be installed prior to the liner and it sqeaks in past the wood. I've owned a few and like the 110. It is on the large side, but has that good ol' 50's feel. Besides, once it is in place you don't have to move it. I am really not trying to scare you off of it, but I get the sense that it is somewhat of a pain to restore. We'll soon see though - Terry (aka Sodaworks) said he was going to restore a 6-case Vertical soon (same machine pretty much). Weren't you into woodworking before you moved to AZ?

110's and 6 case verticals have the same wood frame door and cabinet. There is alot involved in the repair of the frame and door. A dead give a way is when the door is open, see if the machine shifts, rocks, or get out of alignment. This could mean that the wood frame has rotted and lost its integrity.

Brian,
I placed a bid on this and talked to the seller, before I saw this post. I was just wanting the coin mech and crank. I can back off though.

I have a bid in, but will back off for Bryan if he wants it. He is close to it. I just thougt it would be a good pick up if it stays low.
