a little over a year ago I expanded my home business. Should be working out of the commercial kitchen full time in time for the holiday rush.

This project has taken me away from soda machine hunting and I'm going through withdrawals.

I think Jasmine makes candy or cookies or cakes and  it's great to see her horizons expanding.  Good job our friend.

Most of us guys visualise that building as a nice restoration shop though  '<img'>

Yep, I once did weddings and birthdays only, but my daughter took that over.

I now do catering and candy for the hoildays.

I want to do it in Coca cola theme or the 7 up, but hubby thinks that would be too much.

The building is 30x25 just the right size to get started with. It went up and got this far in 3 days. The inside work will take way longer.

The one next to it is our deep well we use for watering the yard, garden and washing the cars. It developed a hole in the screening and now pulls sand with the water so we dont use it for the house anymore, ruined a dishwasher and water heater before we figured out the straining screen was shot.

I still want a shop one day to cram full of soda machine projects. That is on my wish list. So I guess I'd better put away some savings for that building.

Hubby get mad that I have to be tinkering with something mechanical all the time. He should be glad i'm not at work with him tinkering with his tractors or well engines.  ':<img:'>

You could put a cooler on the front porch there... And decorate it without
over doing it... make it look like a vintage candy store or old 5&dime....
Would LOVE to have a place like that! Again best of luck and keep us
poste! .... We'll all help you decorate it! ':<img:'>

Looking good Jasmine, I would do a 50's store theme on the outside. Machine, Thermometer and plaster it with vintage sins.

You may get no better advice from this group. Developing a 50's theme is not only enjoyable, it's profitable.

I have an automotive buisness that looked the same as all
other auto shops in the country. Adding early signs and machines
made the place stand apart from all the rest. Has become a place
to remember for many...and many come back time and time again.

And don't forget, all funiture and fixtures are tax deductable

It's going to be decorated alittle over time. Got to get the feel for what I want it to look like.

There are two businesses in my hometown that is already decorated in soda related themes. One soda fountain that went out of business a while back.

If soda themes are redundant in your town, then throw a couple of gas pumps out front from that light up at night, place a soda machine/cooler on the porch and then decorate the inside in a variety of 40's/50's/60's decora...

Personally, I'm with Glen and think the illuminated gas pumps will be unique in your area!

Are you sure you don't want to convert and go into full-time restorations...?
A few slight mods to the building and you're ready yo go ! ! !

What ever direction you go, good luck in your endeavors ! ! !

My six cents,
