My new v-81a

Hello. I just unpacked my new V-81 and am trying to figure out it's date of manufacturer. The serial number says H504 3861. Can anyone tell how old it is from that number. The machine is in great shape. I'll try and enclose a picture but it might be too large.

Doug,
If my memory serves me, the machine was manufactured in April of 1955...
Is it an "all red" machine" w/ the logo slightly off centered to the left?
