QUOTE Look at all the bid cancellations! If you look at the reasons why, a lot say Administrative Cancellation. I wonder what that is about? Didn't get pre-approval?

This auction made the front page of our local paper today. The car is being sold to finance a new movie. Seller stated he was hoping that it would bring the $500,000 he needed and was just as surprised as the rest of us when it hit $2 million.

My friend "Hemi" just called me from John Schneider's house. They were watching the end of auction together. Almost $10 million for a car. Wow! Hemi built much of the General for John and John has another charger in his yard........ready to start all over again. Seems this would be a better venture than making any old movie! '>

I think I'd rather buy a '69 Camaro for 50k, a RC 81 for 20 K, and live off the rest of the $9.25 Million... '>

I'm with you Kilroy! This exceeded the the prior highest paid amount for a mopar. A 71 Hemi Cuda convertible sold last year for 5.5 million. The new owner has two of them.
