It is a Vendo Standard.
Westinghouse made a couple of coin operated machines, but they are rare.
Most that you will run across are Westinghouse machines that Vendo put a coin operated top on.

late 30's - early 1940's
The chest was made by Westinghouse, Vendo added the spin top and sold them.
Looks to complete, which is good, since there aren't many repro parts available.

I would offer $200-300, personally I think they are cool, and love the spin top, but they aren't that popular, maybe because they will only vend the 8 oz (well 6 oz in those days) bottles.

I didn't know these were water cooled, but by the looks of the inside photo it is. YOu can see the refridgeration /coolant coil and the water line around the inside of the tub. I think they are cool too, but only about 250-300 cool!

Good luck

It looks to be in good shape too!
Just a little dust here and there...
It has the casters as well. The cooler may have been repainted at one time as you can see the feet are supposed to be silver but there is still some red paint wearing off...
I'll bet it still works...?

My six cents,

400 can be talked down to 300, then I might consider it if you had any interest.... if it where near me I'd do 300 if working and such... but again I spend too much money on stuff and It's GOTTA END>>>> '<img'>

It's an “investment” John... and it can't end... if it does then
someone else will get it! And not care for it like you would....
Besides we know you're saving your money for the other Stoner Junior.. '<img'>

It's not stuff
it's preserving for future generations  the real peices of history, the soda machine where chance meetings  turned in to 60 year  marriages, signs that can bre considered art as opposed to crass commercialism,  hours spent imagining  what conversations may have taken place by the gumball, coke, candy, stamp telephone or what ever machine you have, and how those conversations shaped our generation today.

It's not stuff, it is a culmination of who we are today, and I recite this to myself everytime I surf ebay, garage sales, and flea markets just to justify the need  to buy more stuff.   '<img'>
