Hey Everyone! I am looking for old 7UP machines. If you know of any leads, keep me in mind. I am going to purchase one from Joey, but always looking. Hard to find and some are way up there in $$$$, as you all know. Still need a VMC 81 and 88 and some of the True coolers like the N-416. Very hard to find machines in 7UP. I appriciate the help, if you ever see any!

So, basically upright corner machines, as opposed to square corner/lightup 7up machines?

I will look at any type of machine, but yes round one's are what I really need. I have mostly all square tops. I would not be opposed to a square top, just depends on model and what is looks like.

Thanks!

I have a 7up machine Model #H56C, Serial #3034 F56.  I've seen it referred to as a "transitional" Vendorlator 56 as it has square corners and embossed w/ the 7up logo(s).  I plugged it in and it ran for a short while, but then turned off.  I noticed you are very much into the 7up machines...Would you know anyone who might be interested in my machine?  It is located in Salem, Oregon.  I might be able to meet someone within 3-4 hours drive from Salem if they agreed to pay my gas and would be able to offload the machine from my horse trailer.  It is in nice condition.  I saw a machine on Ebay that was exactly like mine (except mine is in better condition), but he had a reserve on it and the high bid of $400 did not meet the reserve.  I felt $400 would be a fair price for this machine?  Any help would be appreciated.  I can email pics.  Thanks!  Blankpaige@comcast.net

Hi Brian, I am going to be selling my fully restored 7up VMC 110. It has a fabulous restoration and works great. Awesome machine. I'm in the middle of pricing it now but I believe I'm going to ask around $4,000-$4,250 for it, right around there. This is a tough machine to get. Almost as tough as the VMC 81. If you have an interest please give me a call. Ray. 805-451-2145.

I just got a call from a guy who has an old 7up machine in
storage, and he wants to sell it because he is moving. He said
it was an "Ideal 49 B" It is silkscreened, not embossed.
I asked if it could be an Ideal 55, but he said no, not a slider it was an upright
Well I looked in Jeff's book and couldn't find it. Then I looked
in the soda machines section of this site.....and sure enough, Ideal
did produce an upright machine. (thanks Jim)
He may be way off base on price, but I will meet with him and shoot a few pictures if possible.

I have a Ideal 55, embossed. No rack, no coin mech.

Box is in decent shape...I paid $150 for it...I'll let you have

it for that price, if interested.

Ha! Great machines that I picked up! Really happy that Moondawg and Ray helped with the deal. Eric, Joey and I only charge a small fee for our home secrets of how to explain to the wife that we are buying more machines!

Brian, I read in Jeff's book, the 88 and 81 did not have embossed bubbles, so I'm sure the 110 is the same.
Hey guys I didn't  posess Brian's Ideal upright long enough to figure out the dispenser system, but.....
It's a single vend...and it has shelves and flappers similar to a Stoner candy machine, and one electric vend motor underneath.
Ideal sold SLIDERS...............!!! What was their motive for entering the electronic dispenser market?
So much history we still need to learn!

Me too.... We have Season Passes to Silver Dollar City so I'll be
down there a lot this summer.... The shop is long gone but I'll ask around.
Joey if you talk with Randy ask him if he knew who had or restored it?...
Heck it may even had been him... I know he restored and put machines
in the Coca-Cola Shop there.
The Store was in the Grande Palace Shopping Mall... Something Like
“Remember When” was the name of the store...
