Yes, It's an Artkraft cooler... mid 40's . You can find some photos on the machines section on the first page of the website.. not much is known about them, but I'm sure Jim would love a picture of it if you can get one!

this may be a "wet" machine, how do you tell?there looks like there may be a water line stain about 3/4 of the way up the sides.

That's a pretty good clue, but it could be Ice cooled too, check for the recirculating pump somewhere in the tank, or if the tanks stainless steel is another clue, low-end Ice chests usually had galvanized liners as well as "Dry" chests, while better "Wet" (water-cooled) chest had stainless steel, plus look for a drain & an Overflow tube!
gotta get some pictures !!!! '>

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

This would be interesting to see since most Artkraft coolers aren't coin operated...

the woman at the junk shop said the person she got it from said that the "bottle rack and coin mech" was missimg.she also told me that it got cold when plugged in,but i didn't see a cord.there is a ton of junk around it so i didn't get a good look, saw inside and the top 2/3 of the back and one side.there is a bottle opener that i could feel on the side facing the wall, but i couldn't feel a cap catcher or the "pins"it would sit on.did they have a cap catcher?it has two silver "sliding"top doors and what looks like a hole in the corner,a factory hole, not rust.

The two sliding tops are typical for Artkraft and this cooler probably didn't have a vending rack and a coin mech...
