Picked up a new working Vendo 44, its got some dirt issues first I'm going to take care of, has lock/key works and seems like surface rust, and I think the drain tube is intact so it may not be rusty inside.  Only the Coin mech needs work.  I'm going to Call Soda Jerk Works in January again to send out the coin mech.

I'll have pics up soon of the machine

k - thanks

Sounds like a nice machine. Tom AKA Collecture does full restorations on mechs and does a excellent work. prices are very affordable.

When I get a chance I will post a pic to my gallery.  I don;t hink even a picture will be able to show you how good the mech looks.
I recieved the package at work and when I unwrapped the mech my help asked where I found the new units.

Tom did 3 in all for me and the only way it could have been better was if he paid me to let him restore them.

I did not take any pics of Marvin's mechs (should have), but I'll post a pic of one of mine I did.
I'll have to dig it out (hopefully later today).

A couple of years ago I would have thought you guys sad sitting there drooling at a coin changer. But now, well what a beauty. A work of art.

I too would like to sing Tom's praises. I have a 56 that vends on a pound coin thanks to the man.

There is no reason to post a pic of mine now.  That one looks just like mine.  It is amazing what this man can do and even more amazing is the price he charges.
