The posts looked like they were slowing down a little so i think this is a valid question.....

How many of you have your machines out making money?

Where are they located e.i. school, store, office, hospital?

What machine?
Are you using the orignal coin changer?
What price?

Arn't you worried about theft or Damage?

Where my wife works.

What machine?
Vendo 63 (Style-Star/Woody).

Are you using the orignal coin changer?
Kinda.  Coinco S75-9800B.

What price?
50 cents.  I'm using returnable bottles from Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Arn't you worried about theft or Damage?
No. It's in the break room, which is basically under a starcase (so it's not seen from the street).  There are only 5 employees and my mother-in-law owns the business.

I had a nice litttle Coke Cavalier CSS64 at work in the front entrance vestible. I was using 12 oz returnable bottles from a local soda company, A-Treat out of Allentown. I had about seven different flavors all good tasting. The machine was set at 50c and I made a nice little profit especially in the summer. People thought it was neat to get a heavy 12 oz bottle of soda. It was also fun to restock the machine and keep it operational. The soda was cheap at the distributor.

But all good things must end, the company stopped bottling the 12 oz returnables, all returnables in fact, and that basically put me out of business.

Sold the machine, actually traded it for a 4' round coca cola button. Always wanted to get back in the biz but without a cheap soda distributor not able to make profit.

I'd like to use my Glasco this summer out in front of my office on Main Street. I would just put regular non returnable bottles in it.. but is there a way to convert the coin mech for more money like 50 cents or more?
