I have seen that site before. It must be up there amongst the world's best collections.
Tell me, was there a time when people were just throwing all these goodies out and these people that hold the great collections were just in the right place at the right time OR is it a case that they are just loaded and don't know what to spend their money on.
You look around the walls of these show rooms and the signs clocks etc alone are worth tens of thousands, let alone the machines.

I too have seen this collection before. I wonder if all the signs are mint like the photos show or are they all restored? If Mint that collection is worth not thousands but millions.

Dave, I know a guy who has over two hundred machines and a few hundred gas pumps. His collection started 30 years ago by someone giving him a coke machine to put in his garage for beer. all his buddies just started dropping off their "junk".

I wish a few people would drop their junk off this way. I don't mind storing it for them.
I guess the game is to look around and see what's junk now but will be collectible in years to come.
If I lived in the US I'd definately be buying up those square tops.

Yeah I bookmarked that guy's site a year ago.... unbelieveable!!!!! I think it's a combo of having money and collecting when no one else was..... Heck just in the past 10 years things have tripled.... I remember when gas pumps Wayne 60s ex. where around $100... that same model unrestored is $1200!!!! unless I can find one in the wild... I'll never be able to own one... That collection is an investment.... Stocks come and go..... but try finding anything that guys got in that condition without paying a arm and a leg..... How would one insure all that?...wow.....

WOW!! What a nice collection. He not only must have some $$$, but he has got nice spaces to display it. I wish my garage looked 1/2 that nice.

'> WOW What a great collection I wish I had just one room of that collection . One thing you got to remember is we all started out with one soda machine or a candy machine or even a juke's box and look how many thing we all have now . So don't let your hope get down when we turn 80 or so I hope we all will have a collection like that ( OK Right then, yeah)

Must bee good to be and Electrician!!!! (that is his business) I emailed him about a year ago just to say wow and that I enjoyed looking at his site. He emailed me back and by the tone in the email, seemed like a very nice, genuine good guy who has had some good fortune and was able to pursue a hobby he loved, Collecting stuff!! I believe all signs and advertising peices are original, near mint items, and machines, jukes and stuff are either really nice originals and or restored to perfect condition per his email. It all starts out with a dream and a Hell of alot of luck!! '>
