Kevin if you want it you should get it. They are great machines and can be modified to cans (I think). I just couldn't see a deal like that get away but it would be a nightmare for me to get it. If you want it you should get it. besides the coin mech in it is a large door Vendo coin mech. It alone is worth $300

The WC44 will vend 6 oz. to 12 oz bottles. I have never heard of any can modification specifically for the WC44, but I am sure it can be done. Most column type vendors are able to be modified.
Steve Jebb (Soda Jerk Works) is selling some parts for it and others are in the works. I have a few original parts for it.
Most common problems are the coin door is usually cracked up and the bottom breaker strip is shot (both repro at SJW).
The coin mech is the same as the 56, 81, 110 large door except it does not have the SO Flag trip and the hole on the back of the shaft is 1/4 inch on the vertical instead of 1/8 inch on the horizontal.
Not very popular machines - usually go for $200-$300 - can't figure that one out!  '<img'>

I can't either. i honestly like them as much as the V44. I like the all white front with red embossing. I wish I had an easy way to get it to my storage in Cincinnati. I still might go for it. I am just waiting to see what Kevin says.

Cool go for it. If you decide you don't like it I might buy it from you. I really think they are good looking machines. If I could just get it shipped to Thailand. I have all this bottled soda and no machine to put it in. I need to work on this problem. There has to be machines somewhere in this country.

Josh

there must be machines in the country somewhere.

If not how about the Philapines? There has to be shed loads of stuff there. Ripe and ready for
exploitation. Will be much cheaper to ship it from there than the USA.

I wouild guess that the script in the Philapines would be in English too.

Dave, I am already one step ahead of you there. I have an office in Minila and they have all been schooled on soda machines and are looking. However everything is like it is here. Almost everything is outside and it is tropical. Even new bubble fronts are already rusting away. I doubt much had survived but I am looking.

Any idea how much it would cost you to ship (by boat I'm sure) a small machine like a V63 or Cav 64?

Eric, Yes and no. i got an email but it didn't contain anything. It was really weird. Send it again.

As for the machine. I am going to pass on it for now. I hope Kevin gets it. I am going to wait and see what happens here and how long I will be here. If I decide to stay in thailand for a while I will probably ship one over. I Am getting ready to ship a pallet of supplies over from the US so that will give me an idea of what it would cost. My only worry is the customs charge. Thailand doesn't like anything to be imported into the country.

Hey

It is looking good right now. Maybe I will get it for the $20.

I am planning to go pick it up on Sunday. At trip from Charleston to MB, pick up coke machine, go out to eat & then drive home.

Hum!!!!!!!!! Now I have to get my wife to see this my way. I guess I had better  start dropping hints!

MB I was there last year and wish I was there now.

What's the temp like this time of the year. We went in Sept and it was in the 90's.

Are you going to stroll along the beach??

Hope you get that machine.

WC-44SK's are great liitle machines! They're not ugly!!!I had one and loved it. Very easy to restore and they don't takee up much space at all. In fact they are a bit smaller than the Cav 55!

As mentioned before, Soda Jerk Works does carry a lot of parts for it now. Breaker Strips, Door liners and such.

Hope you get it!

For Myrtle Beach it looks like a high of 68 and a low of 60 for tomorrow.  In the upper 60's and low 70's through the next 10 day, courtesy of The Weather Channel

I had better tell her  about the machine soon.

You got sniped by a penny! Don't you hate that?
That machine looked complete - I am surprised that it did not go for more.
I would have at least contacted him and see if he would have parted it out to you for the winning bid. The coin mech alone is worth double or triple the amount it would have cost you (including shipping).
