Hi.
I'm new to this forum, and the reason that I'm here is that I just bought a Coke machine Saturday night and I'm looking for some information on it.

 '<img'>

It has NARCO on the front and the data plate (right side, outside of the machine) it has Dixie-Narco model DNS-80.  It is a square top machine that vends glass bottles (the shelves are adjustable for different sized bottles).  The coin changer is currently set for $.10, but can be set to $.15 and $.20.  It appears to be complete (with the exception of the lock cylinder for the outer door) and in working order (the 18" flourescent bulb in the vend door appears to be out, but...).

Can somebody help me with a date as to when it might've been made and possible a value for it?

Thanks....

Hello Steve

welcome to group. I've just had a look in the soda machine section but can't find your model number. There are pictures of machines there it might be worth your while having a look through and seeing if you can ID your machine. Its on the home page.

If that doesn't work place a picture on the boards there are people here far far wiser than me who will be able to tell you exactly what you have.

Plse be aware that this hobby is very very addicitive and I estimate that come Christmas your machine will have found a mate and will have produced at least one off spring.

Thanks for the welcome... I've looked through the selection of machines and can't find anything under Narco that comes close.  About the closest I could come was a Vendo 63

Last night I took some GREAT snapshots... unfortunately, I left my digital camera sitting on the desk, at home, when I left for work this morning...   '<img'>
