I put some stuff on Ebay and I selected US addresses only.  Someone from Germany with excellent feedback asked if I will ship to him (I selected to ship to US because I didn't want to deal with an ebay newb across the ocean wondering why it's taking a month or two to get to them or what is wrong with their non-international money order).  If I tell the person that they can bid (paying with PayPal of course), will the ebay system let them bid since they are not from the US?

Yes it will, if you allow bids from countries not on your seller preference list, or just allow the bids in the first place & only accept payment in U.S. dollars, Ebay will convert the bidding amounts  to whatever currency they are dealing with automatically.

JohnieG is correct unless you selected "Block buyers from countries to which I don't ship" option. This option may only be in the Turbo Lister program though.

Brent

the only thing I would add to what has already been said is the USPS Calculator for International destinations. That way you won't get loads of e-mails from people asking for the postage price. They then rrealse it isn't as cheap as they thought it was and don't bid.

I love the calculator. It makes it so much easier.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that....like some baseball items, near mint embossed Coke bottles and the item that was inquired about was some Star Wars action figures.
I'm trying to fund some of my Cavalier restoration project.  Eric is shipping the cooling unit back today and it should be getting painted later this week.
