I'm trying to restore my Vendo V165B to as close to original as possible...
So what did cans of Soda sell for in this Machine? i can't find any information on Soda prices around this time and i'm a little young to remember(born in 1980)

So any of you older guys remember what soda can's sold for in these machines around the late 60's early 70's? I'm looking for an acurate price label and to set my coinco to the right price also....Would be really cool if i could find those 10oz can's also =)

Couldn't have been much... A bottle of soda around 1975 was a quarter....
I was in 5th grade... and at our second recess we could buy a soda and drink it in the hallway.
Grape Crush was a favorite then... so I would think a can would have been a quarter or less.

I remember being in elementary school in the early 70's and putting a quarter into the machine on my way home and getting 1 coin back as change. This would mean it would have been .15 or .20 cents at the time. I really thing it was a nickel that I received as change. '<img'>

I can remember as a young kid buying a soda and having to hang out around the soda cooler inside the store to leave the bottle because it had a 4 cent deposit. '<img'>

I remember 20 cents late 60's for bottles. It went up quick in .5 jumps during the 70's. Didn't see many can machines until mid 70's. Thanks for the memories Terry!! We used to ride our Schiwn "stingrays" down the sides of the road looking for bottles :-)

I've decided to set my square tops to .20 Guests/friends have fun putting a quarter in and getting a nickel back. After the novelty wears off just use the freeplay switch.

In the late 60's a can of soda was normally 20 cents.
