My friend chuck, is selling his Ideal 70 slider. According to Steve Jebb the 70 model was only made for about a year and only a few are out there. Chuck lives in No. Ca. (Vacaville). I included a couple of photo's of the cooler. It's nice, complete and would be an easy restoration. Here's Chuck's email address- chuckgabby1@sbcglobal.net

Terry,

Cool machine!
Can I obtain a photo for use here at SMC...?
If so, your second image would be great if the complete cooler was visible.
I think I have seen literature regarding this model recently...

I never knew this model was produced either.  I do remember a discussion here about a slider we all thought was an Ideal 85 and we couldn't figure out why it had that strange looking compressor grill protruding from the side.

Jim,
I'll get chuck to get us a better photo of the cooler. This is a pretty cool cooler. His price is right, somebody here needs to grab it!!!

Yes, welcome.  At the top of the page there is a Help button.  Check there about how to post pics.  The biggest problem that people have is that they try to post images that are too large.

And Welcome to SMC, johnnyfizz!

Not yet Jim but I'll get the photo's for you. He's bringing the machine to my house on Sat. so that I can check it out. I am restoring a Cav. 72 for Chuck that he'll be picking up on sat. If anyone's interseted in the Ideal 70 Chuck's "motivated" to sell it. '<img'>

Thanks for the update!

If you'll be taking the photos, please attempt to get the complete machine in the photo... Your second photo is a good angle except some of the cooler has been cut-out of the photo...

Thanks again!
