I know we are a soda machine site, but there are an aweful lot of people into more than soda machines. What about adding a section for things like Jukes, or candy machines, or arcade games... instead of piling them all into the general section here.

Anyway, there is this juke on craigslist by me that is pretty cheap I think. I don't really know what it is, and the guy can't give me a pic. Before I go outta my way and have a look at it, does anyone have a pic or any info on what this machine may look like?? I've tried searching google, but nothing came up...

I am probably going to make a "sister site" of SMC for jukes.  This may be my summer project since I've been pretty busy this spring with a bunch of projects.  (Jim: I think I'm going to use regular html instead of MySQL.  I haven't had a chance to try it out.)

That would be cool. It would be nice to keep it somewhat tied to this one. I like this group of people and I can't imagine running into another site that is just as knowledgeable and friendly as this one.

Bubba - look for a Seeburg Q or a Seeburg DS. These were some of the last of the viewable mechs, and can be found pretty reasonably. 1959-1962 vintage.

Bubba - Just did a search on Craigslist in New Jersey and there seems to be a nice Seeburg AY160 FOR THE BARGAIN PRICE OF $450.00. Might be worth a little bit of investigation.

Thanks guys... I'm not actively shopping for one - I don't think... If I see something come along at the few peanuts I can afford, I'd probably grab it. Kinda how that Pepsi machine ended up in my garage.. '<img'>

That's an idea...
I can create a new "Other Coin-Op's" Discussion Area until Brent gets his juke site up and running this summer...
Let me know what everyone wants...

A Juke site set up like SMC would be GREAT!  Would be much better than newsgroups. Owner of 3 wurlitzers

Under "Other Coin-Op's" I was thinking forums like Arcade, Jukes, Change Machines, etc

If anyone else can think of more categories that would be great '<img'>
