I just bought a lacrosse machine with a vendo 50 coin mechanism.  The lacrosse is a model lcv 120 (I believe) and seems to be fine, just needs freon.  But nickels stick in the coin mechanism near the magnet after initial sorting.  Any ideas? Quarters and dimes work fine, and mechanism seems to be spotless. I don't know anything about these things, so any help whatsoever would be appreciated.

Assuming they aren't Canadian nickels (which are magnetic), it may need the nickel path wiped clean of any grime & metal shavings, etc. or you may have to back out the depth-gauge screw on the little plastic button that is associated with the nickel-path just opposite the magnet, this is waht judges the correct thickness of the coin, in this case a U.S. nickel.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!

Backing out that screw helped, thanks for the tip.  I am already on my next problem, the fluorescent  lights don't work,......that will likely be another post once I get a better idea why.  Thanks again.
