I've been kicking my feet on my Mailbox in the garage for a couple of years now. I've finally decided to have a go at restoring it.
Before I strip the paint I want to be able to replace the original Decal. I've included a picture, it should be very familiar to all of you.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement. I've contacted the US post Office a few times and all they have ever done is fob me off.

I was thinking of using it as a linen basket. Can't imagine there being many of these this side of the pond.

That would be a easy decal to create... Like the caps I started, I could make a vector art image and email it to you
and you could have a sign/decal company make them for you...
can you give me the measurements and a straight on image if it?...
It looks to be red, blue, black and a gold?

Eric.... I've been thinking about these decals and where to get them done. I don't know what quantities you are looking for at a shot, or what minimum quantities they require, but have you ever looked at a place like Seton? www.seton.com. They have made logo labels for my machinery at work. Not soda machines, but our machinery. They have done a few different labels for me. Very good quality peel and stick. I don't know if they can do the water transfer. Their decals hold up to soaps and cleanings without inks running. I usually provide them with an Adobe Illustrator image.

A large printing company in the next town over was the place that made the new USPS logo stickers when they switched to the new logo.  Let me see if I can remember what the company is called and find their phone number for you. |

I used to love Mr. Zip back in the day. What a great little dude.

I also love "Reddy Kilowatt": http://www.toonopedia.com/reddy_k.htm
but now I am getting this thread off topic.
